As NYSSBA begins to plan and prepare for 2024, we want to hear from you. What are the topics/issues that you want us to cover in our various trainings, webinars, podcasts, etc. next year?

    Please continue doing sessions on electric buses. This is becoming an increasing concern in Area 10. Also, substantial equivalency, as board members there are things we need to know and it’s a bit of a moving target.

    How to be an effective board not just a professional board. Goals specifically related to student outcome and how to monitor them. How to move from focusing on adult behaviors and actions to focusing on student improvement.
