    NYSSBA has a 2 page document called "16 Tenets of the Effective Board-Administrative Leadership Team". I have shared this document yearly with my Board since becoming the President. It has great info for both the Board and the Superintendent.

    We include board members in our school district's code of ethics policy -- which applies to all employees and district officers. Maybe check if your school district has such a policy and bring it up with your board?
