BOE Contact

Hello Forum members:

Our district clerk is updating a district chain of command flow chart for posting on our website. Obviously in many instances, the last step in the chain is the Board of Education. Our clerk is wondering if I as board president should be listed as the BOE contact, or if the generic BOE email address should be used. I’m inclined to think it should be me, but would like more opinions from you folks. Thanks in advance!

  • i would agree that the BOE email address is the best route to follow.
  • We are developing a chain of command as well and the last step is contacting the BOE as a whole. We have a generic email address set up.
  • I would go with the generic BOE email address. That way everyone on the board receives the email. Save a step of you having to then forward the email to the rest of the board.
