district policies

Many of the Governor's executive Orders contradict current distict policies. We are following them while still having the policies in our book. I am wondering if this causes a problem. If so, is anyone considering passing a resolution stating that their district will not follow board policy when it has been superseded by Executive Order?

    Bonnie, thanks for asking. I did get a response for our law firm. They said that there is no need to do anything as Executive Orders automatically supersede previous rules. I did make a comment to that effect at our board meeting.

    Is there any guidance on this yet? Are Boards passing a resolution stating the above?
