Fall 2021 Calendar

hi,

This fall, Rosh Hoshanah begins on September 6 and continues until September 8.  the 6th is Labor Day and we traditionally begin on the Tuesday after labor day.  Has anyone adjusted their calendar to start school on the 9th?  If you did that, are the 7th and 8th the traditional conference days?  If you did that, how did you handle teachers who observe Rosh Hoshanah?

    We are starting before. Conference day on 9/1 and students in on 9/2

    We've scheduled Superintendent Conference Days on the 1st and 2nd....students first day of school is September 8.

    Somers is beginning school on Sept 1 to accommodate the holiday observance. School will be closed 9/6-8.

    We start 9/9 for students, conference days are 9/1 & 9/2.

    We are starting on September 1. The students will be in school on Sept 1 and 2nd and then will return. In the 9th.
