We are thinking about providing our Superintendent with a Long-Term or Short-Term Disability policy, does anyone else provide either for their Superintendent?

We were told that a stipend for any such benefit is considered a taxable benefit, and as such, would cause the Superintendent to have to pay tax on the amount of the payment she received for the policy. Did you deal with this issue?
