Vote Results

Hi, We had overwhelming support from our community which passed our budget, building prop and bus purchase.  How about you?  I am ammending my question knowing that over 98% passed.  Since almost everyone had a higher voter turnout, were your yes to no ratios different?

  • Our ratio was about the same. Unfortunately it appears in my district as well as a number around us, mail in voting was not as favorable to incumbents.
  • we had a better result this year
    18-19 Yes = 351 or 77.7% No = 101 or 22.3%
    19-20 Yes = 403 or 64.4% No = 223 or 35.6%
    20-21 Yes = 738 or 82.5% No = 157 or 17.5%
  • We did as well. I think it surprised a lot of people, given the high number of votes returned. Usually that is bad news. I just hope that the Governor doesn't get the idea that it is a good idea to send absentee ballots to everyone every year! That would be yet another unfunded mandate. I do wonder how it may have influenced our election results-- the two that got in were the first two on the ballot-- was it just that people chose alphabetically as they didn't know the candidates?
